Scituate Select Board approves three-year police labor agreement and four municipal contracts. The Memorandum of Agreement with MassCOP Local 461 establishes 2.5 percent annual wage increases for fiscal years 2027 through 2029, introduces specialist stipends ranging from $250 to $2,500, restructures compensation for five-days-on, two-days-off shift workers, and adds a 1 percent Year 2 increase tied to implementation of in-car dashboard cameras. The Board unanimously awarded contracts totaling over $700,000: $109,800 to SCS Field Services for landfill monitoring, $129,500 to Tighe & Bond for groundwater and air quality monitoring, $112.97 hourly rates to Pine Ridge Technologies for streetlight maintenance, and $77,333.46 to Energy Conservation Inc. for wastewater treatment plant weatherization improvements with full state grant reimbursement.
Village Green Construction received $388,000 for the Bates House Restoration Project.
