Scituate's School Committee faced a choice between finalists for the name of the district's newest elementary school, following weeks of student research and public input. - Zoning board takes up fire-razed Humarock lot case. Scituate's Zoning Board of Appeals weighed a variance for a Humarock lot vacant since a 2012 fire, argued under a newer, lower state standard. - Conservation board takes up seawall-adjacent deck plan. Scituate's Conservation Commission weighed a deck plan on Oceanside Drive that one commissioner called 'ill-advised' for sitting too close to the seawall.
