Conservation Commission denies Marshfield Avenue coastal project

Scituate Conservation Commission denies barrier beach dwelling proposal in a rare 3-1 vote. Commissioners voted to close the Notice of Intent hearing and issue a denial for an accessory dwelling and septic system at 30 Marshfield Avenue, with Commission Chair Frank Snow the sole dissent. Conservation Agent Jennifer Smith noted that the Board of Health has not yet approved the septic plan.

The commission also approved Orders of Conditions for four other projects and continued five applications for further review.
