SCITUATE — June 9, 2026 — Scituate Select Board approves school bond award, carnival permit, and new coffee cart license while deferring dog park takeover question. At its June 9 meeting, the board unanimously ratified the award of $32.3 million in general obligation bond anticipation notes — primarily for the new Cushing School — to JP Morgan Securities LLC at a net interest cost of 2.60 percent, well below what officials had anticipated, after the town received five competitive bids and collected a $203,490 premium.
