Scituate Advisory Committee recommends zoning and stormwater amendments for annual town meeting. The committee voted unanimously to recommend Amendments to Zoning Bylaws Section 620 (sections 620.1 and 620.3) and Amendments to General Bylaws on stormwater management, according to the April 13 meeting minutes. Member Lynda Ferguson raised concerns that deck restrictions in the R3 district could devalue properties while allowing three-story homes with roof decks, though she moved to recommend the zoning amendments.
Three articles were set for indefinite postponement, including Special Town Meeting Article 5 for Sunset Road eminent domain and Annual Town Meeting Article 31 for a meals tax increase.
