Affordable Housing Trust · Meeting of June 17, 2026
Scituate Affordable Housing Trust approves Small Repairs Grant Program. Chair Stephen Irish led the unanimous approval of the 2026 program, which awards grants up to $3,500 per applicant with a $7,000 lifetime cap for prior recipients. The updated median assessed home value is $898,500; properties above that threshold are ineligible.
The Trust also heard from South Shore Habitat for Humanity about its Critical Home Repair program and discussed establishing referral pathways, pursuing joint fundraising at Widow's Walk Golf Course, and coordinating with town staff to reach low-to-moderate-income seniors and veterans.
