Waterways Commission approves April agenda and March minutes

Scituate Waterways Commission unanimously approved its agenda and March minutes on April 1. Harbor Master Stephen F. Mone reported slip revenue at 32 percent and mooring revenue at 46 percent, with the shoulder season opening April 15 to boats from multiple states paying $100 per day.
The commission heard that Pier 44 project costs have been reduced from $6 million to $4 million, with the Community Preservation Committee to discuss financing at its April meeting. Summer events planned include an Opening of the Harbor in June, a children's fishing tournament, and Fishermen's Fest potentially relocating to Cole Parkway.
