SCITUATE — Water Resources Commission approves December minutes, discusses 2026 membership needs. Chair Bruce Arbonies led the January 13 meeting, during which the Commission unanimously approved its December 2025 meeting minutes and reported that two member positions will open in 2026. Vice Chair Bob Murray committed to obtaining a complete 2009 hydrologist report for a property opportunity at 149 Old Oaken Bucket Road.

The Commission reviewed a modified request for proposals for its desalination subcommittee, examined historical total trihalomethane data from multiple town sites, and confirmed support for a North Shore Watershed Association rain barrel event offering discounts to Scituate residents.
