SCITUATE — The Scituate Sister City/France, Sucy-en-Brie Committee approved operational improvements to next year's food festival following a review of its most recent event, which attracted 104 attendees. Members voted to accept secretary and accountant reports and discussed changes including decaffeinated coffee options, labeled dessert ingredients, raffle basket inventories, and alternative payment methods. Anne Marie Gean volunteered to help organize a small Bastille Day celebration at a member's home, with Betty Tufankjian providing cornhole and possibly a tent.

The committee also noted Heritage Days dates of August 7, 8, and 9 and considered a fall film festival timed for afternoon attendance.
