Scituate to reopen bottled water distribution Sunday

The Town of Scituate announced Nov. 1 that it will set up another bottled water distribution at Cole Parkway from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day.

The distribution follows an earlier pickup event the day before, during which more than 2,000 cases of water were given out to residents. The town said additional truck deliveries of water are expected.

The town thanked residents, saying, "Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding."

The distribution is tied to an ongoing boil water advisory in Scituate.
