Scituate Senior Center board approves prior minutes, explores volunteer snow-removal program. The Council on Aging Board heard from Outreach Coordinator Jeanine Chisholm about expanding services for seniors over 60 and disabled residents, including a potential "Snow Angels" program connecting seniors with volunteers for snow shoveling. Director Linda Hayes-Kelly reported steady membership growth and successful programs including a March art exhibit drawing 60 attendees, a 85-person Sunday Jazz Brunch, and newly requested monthly Drum Circle offerings.
SSES Liaison Kenzy Vandebroek announced state meal reimbursement increased to $10.25 per meal and $11.00 for Kosher and Asian-prepared meals, with client copay rising to $2.50 for those able to pay.
