Scituate Planning Board continues 7 New Driftway hearing to November pending peer review. Seven New Driftway, LLC plans an 18-unit multi-family building on the site, switching from renovation to demolition and reconstruction after deciding the costs of salvaging the existing structure were impractical. The applicant must obtain Zoning Board of Appeals relief for water service placement in a 150-foot reservoir buffer and address traffic concerns raised by Board Chair Patricia Lambert and the Scituate Police Department.
The board also unanimously approved a $5,030.75 return of surety plus interest for a stormwater permit at 10 Carriage House Way.
