Maureen Elizabeth O'Neal, 91, of Scituate, died on July 1, 2026. She was predeceased by her husband Albert Richard O'Neal, Jr.; her parents, John E. Fitzmaurice and Isabel Fitzmaurice (Kiely); her brother John E. Fitzmaurice Jr.; and her grandmother. She is survived by her sister Patricia Fitzmaurice; her children Patricia Parsons (Mark), Albert R. O'Neal III (Debra), Robert S. O'Neal, Maureen O'Neal, Mary Bridget Murray (Frank), and Elizabeth Morrow (Patrick); eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and extended family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home, 382 First Parish Rd, Scituate. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Saint Christine's Church, 1295 Main St, Marshfield. Memorial donations may be made to the retired Sisters of the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Joseph at https://www.csjboston.org per the family's wishes.
