Historical Commission · Meeting of March 19, 2026
SCITUATE — The Historical Commission advanced its Heritage Strategies preservation plan toward final review. Chair Doug Smith will distribute chapters one through six to members, and consultant Peter Benton will provide an executive summary before the next meeting. The commission voted to implement a Preservation Awards program recognizing restored and preserved buildings in Scituate, with awards presented at Heritage Days in August.
