SCITUATE — CPC votes unanimously to rescind $240,491 in Appleton Field Community Preservation funding. The committee voted 8-0 on March 10 to return the funds after Appleton owners requested their allocation be retained. Eight members attended the meeting, with Jill Caffrey absent.
The committee reviewed ongoing projects including Sunset Road, awaiting an appraisal, and the Dish Pan, awaiting a legal survey. Pier 44 representatives have requested to attend the April 6 meeting to discuss a proposed shade structure project.
