Bicycle Committee approves prior minutes; updates route work and programs.

Scituate Bicycle Committee unanimously approved April minutes at its May 11 meeting. Chair Nancy Werner, Vice Chair Michael Bowler, Clerk Jeffrey Helm, and members Jonathan Belber and Stephen McQuire reported progress on Waterfield bike route development, scheduled for an update by May 15, and planned bike maintenance training for Heritage Days. The committee is coordinating with Parks and Recreation on a September 12 Slow Roll event and planning National Bike Month logistics including a Hard Miles screening and commentary by Charley Richard.

A May 13 joint meeting with traffic, beautification, and sidewalk committees will address intersection concerns and traffic calming at First Parish and Route 3A.
