Beach Commission plans spring cleanup and community events

SCITUATE — Beach Commission reviews 496-response survey of Scituate beaches. Lizzie Capiau-Piscitello, Kelly Bower, and Chris Mason reviewed results showing Minot and Peggotty as most popular beaches, with high satisfaction overall on parking, trash, ramps, cleanliness, and safety. However, residents expressed dissatisfaction with restroom facilities, showers, and foot-wash stations, with concerns also raised about beach erosion.

The commission is planning spring yoga classes and concerts with food trucks.
