Beach Commission · Meeting of March 11, 2026
SCITUATE — The Scituate Beach Commission voted to approve seal signage and addressed facility and access concerns during its March meeting. The commission supported seal signage proposed by Whale and Dolphin Conservation, presented by Lauren Brandkamp and Carolyn Gunther. Members heard reports on recent erosion at Peggotty Beach and path maintenance issues at Sand Hills Beach.
Commission member Susan Harrison will investigate costs for a non-sewer sanitation facility at Peggotty Beach and research public access easement protections. The commission rescheduled beachgrass planting for April 18.
